Turbo-Charged Lightning-Fast Answer

Olympic EZ Bar weighs 20-25 lbs.

We are talking about a typical length EZ Bar, which is usually 47 inches long with Olympic size rotating sleeves. There is no universal weight for an EZ Bar. Unlike the regular Olympic bar, which has a standard weight of 20 kgs (44 pounds), EZ Bar is not used for competitions, therefor doesn’t need to be standardized. Manufacturers use different materials, technologies and sizes which results in differences of the weight.

What Is an EZ Bar?

EZ Bar is a curved bar that has an advantage of multiple angled hand positions. This puts less stress on the wrists and elbows by providing more natural hands position. EZ Bars are much shorter than the traditional barbells for weight lifting. They are easier to balance, sine extra length of the barbell doesn’t create a lever.
